Job Title: Field Guide NQF 2 Location: Eastern Cape, Cacadu District, Graaff-Reinet Job Type: Permanent; full-time position Primary Industry: Travel; Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality Job Duties: Lead guided tours of natural environments, historical sites, and cultural landmarks Provide informative and engaging commentary to guests during tours Ensure the safety and well-being of tour participants Identify and interpret flora, fauna, and local wildlife Maintain and enhance the natural environment for sustainable tourism Assist with logistical and administrative tasks related to tours Required Qualifications: Field Guide NQF 2 qualification Valid driver’s licence First Aid certification Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent Experience: Prior experience working as a field guide or in a related role preferred Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong knowledge of local history, culture, and wildlife Ability to work effectively in a team environment Proficiency in English and any additional languages is advantageous Preferred Qualifications: Field Guide NQF 4 or higher qualification Previous experience in customer service or hospitality industry Working Conditions: Live in role that will be 6 weeks on 2 weeks off Prefered candidate would be form the Eastern Cape Please email CVs to: Apply Below whatssapp: Apply Below
