Job Description
- Matric, bachelors degree in marketing, Sales, or a related field
- 2+ years of sales experience in the food services industry
- Proven history of achieving sales targets and growing customer relationships
- Strong knowledge of the South African food services market
- Experience with food service distributors, manufacturers, or related companies
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (if required)
DUTIES
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with restaurants, hotels, catering companies, and other food service providers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Conduct sales calls, product demonstrations, and presentations to showcase our products and services.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with customers.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure excellent customer service and resolve any issues.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments.
- Report sales performance, customer feedback, and market insights to management.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our products, services, and pricing.
Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
