Job Description
- Must have a formal draughting qualification.
- Must be proficient in SolidWorks 1-2 years. experience – other packages will be a benefit.
- Must be able to do advanced assembly design for 500 parts or more.
- FEA and Simulation will be an advantage.
- Sheet metal design is a must.
- Must be able to optimize designs within SolidWorks.
- Must be able to generate a bill of materials within SolidWorks.
- Must be able to generate 2D drawings for GA, fabrication and manufacturing in SolidWorks.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Project experience will be beneficial – must be able to do it from start to finish
- Microsoft office experience:
- Excel.
- Word.
- PowerPoint.
- MS Project.

- General duties:
- Liaise with customers.
- Drawing revisions and design reviews.
- Development.
- Fabrication drawings and revision control.
- On site measurements.
