Job Description

Our client is looking for a dedicated Creditors Clerk to join their finance team and ensure the accurate processing, reconciliation, and maintenance of supplier accounts within a fast-paced, foreign currency environment. This role is based in Stellenbosch. Key Responsibilities: Accurately capture high volumes of supplier invoices, including those in foreign currency. Ensure adherence to strict deadlines and supplier payment terms. Prepare weekly and monthly creditors reconciliations. Resolve supplier queries promptly and professionally. Conduct supplier visits when required. Prepare and support documentation for bi-monthly and annual audits. Assist with process improvements, procedure development, and project initiatives. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of supplier rates and costs to identify discrepancies. Perform general administrative tasks as required. Provide support to the Creditors Manager and collaborate with the broader finance team. Ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and well-maintained. Liaise effectively with suppliers via phone and written correspondence. Build strong relationships with Commercial and Operations teams to ensure data accuracy and information clarity. Develop a solid understanding of the companys service offerings. Assist with filing and other administrative duties when needed. Job Experience and Skills Required: Grade 12 5 years of supervisory or team management experience in a financial environment. Job Description

Company and Job Description: A dynamic and fast-paced organisation in the logistics sector is seeking a highly capable Creditors Clerk to join its Finance team. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the creditors function, ensuring accurate, timeous processing and payments for both local and international suppliers. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure. Key Responsibilities: Capture high volumes of supplier invoices, including those in foreign currency. Adhere to strict payment deadlines and supplier terms. Prepare weekly and monthly creditors reconciliations. Manage and resolve supplier queries promptly and professionally. Attend supplier meetings when required. Assist with bi-monthly and annual audit processes. Support the development of finance procedures and participate in ad-hoc projects. Understand supplier rates and costs to identify discrepancies. Perform general administrative and filing duties. Provide support to the Creditors Manager and collaborate with the finance team. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Communicate with suppliers verbally and in writing. Build strong working relationships with internal departments, including Commercial and Operations. Gain a solid understanding of the broader service offering of the company. Job Experience and Skills Required: Grade 12/Matric with Mathematics and Accounting. Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous. At least 5 years experience in a similar creditors role (industry experience highly beneficial). Apply now!

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Capture high volumes of supplier invoices within foreign currency environment. Meet strict deadlines to adhere to payment terms. Compile creditors reconciliations weekly and monthly. Manage and resolve supplier queries timeously. Attend supplier visits where necessary. Prepare and assist with bi-monthly and yearly audits. Assist with developing procedures and take on projects as needed. Familiarize yourself with suppliers rates and cost to identity discrepancies. General administrative duties as needed. Support Creditors Manager as required Support other members of the team as needed Keeping financial records accurate and up to date. Liaise with suppliers verbally and in writing. Build strong inter-department relationships with Commercial / Operations to ensure data accuracy and information clarification. Gain proper understanding of the broader companys service offering. Assist with filing and administrative duties as needed. Requirements: Grade 12/Matric with Mathematics and accounting as subjects. Relevant tertiary education will be an advantage. Minimum 1-3 years experience in similar role (Industry related experience will be highly advantageous).
