Pretoria: Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Draughtsperson

Duties & Responsibilities Prepare, update, and maintain E&I drawings, layouts, and schematics to project specifications. Draft and modify diagrams including single-line diagrams, loop diagrams, cable routing, and termination drawings. Ensure all draughting work complies with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements. Support engineers with the development of technical documentation and project deliverables. Assist with the preparation of bills of materials, equipment lists, and design data. Liaise with engineers, designers, and project teams to ensure drawings are accurate and integrated across disciplines. Maintain drawing records, revision histories, and project databases. Provide draughting support during installation, construction, and commissioning phases. Experience & Qualifications Relevant diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering, Draughting, or equivalent qualification. Proven experience as an Electrical & Instrumentation Draughtsperson in an industrial environment. Strong proficiency in draughting/design software such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar tools. Sound knowledge of E&I systems, schematics, and applicable industry standards. Experience preparing and managing project documentation and technical drawings. Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
