Job Description Manage, retain, and grow portfolios with key insurers Build trusted, long-standing relationships with insurer partners and internal stakeholders Monitor portfolio performance and analyse trends to drive improved profitability Develop and execute strategic action plans to support growth and retention targets Prepare accurate financial, performance, and management reports to guide decision-making Oversee underwriting policies and claims processes in alignment with insurer standards Ensure smooth monthly operational cycles including reconciliations, payments, and reporting Lead, mentor, and develop a motivated service advisor team Participate in strategic planning sessions and product development initiatives Identify operational inefficiencies and collaborate with system teams to improve workflow Provide mentorship to claims and underwriting consultants Qualifications 5 years experience in short-term insurance portfolio or account management Higher Certificate in Short-Term Insurance (NQF 5) FAIS compliant with valid RE5 Skills Strong analytical, financial, and reporting capabilities Excellent stakeholder, insurer, and relationship-building skills Strong written and verbal communication in Afrikaans and English Proven ability to negotiate, influence, and manage multiple priorities Working knowledge of insurance administration systems
