• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in operations management, or project management role
• Previous experience in dealing with customers is highly desirable
• Experience working within the construction, mining, or related sectors is an advantage but not essential
• Previous experience working within Africa is desirable but not a necessity
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with a hands-on work ethic
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously is strongly desired
• Comfortable relocating to Zambia and working in a multicultural environment

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Working closely with clients to manage expectations, resolve issues, and ensure smooth project delivery.
• Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
• Supporting pricing, quotations, tender submissions, and contract negotiations.
• Understanding market trends and competitor activity to position the company effectively.
• Overseeing daily operations and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within cost, and to specification.
• Coordinating equipment sourcing, supplier engagement, logistics, and delivery.
• Monitoring budgets, cashflow, expenses, and overall financial health of the business units you manage.
• Reporting to the executive management team.
