Job Description:
This position involves:

  • Developing and documenting business processes to maintain robust internal controls, supporting current and future growth
  • Maintaining compliance with industry-specific regulations, licenses, or permits (e.g., SARS, PSIRA)
  • Overseeing financial systems/general ledger maintenance and ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records for all entities
  • Driving month-end and year-end close processes, preparing monthly management accounts and annual group financial statements
  • Coordinating and supporting annual audit processes and liaising with external auditors
  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of FSS/FSI payroll for all employees
  • Preparing and submitting statutory payments and reports
  • Performing treasury functions to ensure sufficient funds
  • Providing financial controllership for stock takes, inventory management, and insurance claim submissions

 
Skills & Experience:

  • 5+years’ commercial experience
  • Payroll experience (non-negotiable)
  • Exposure to ERP accounting systems (SAP) – advantageous
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

 
Qualification:

  • B. Com Accounting (or similar
  • CA(SA) or CIMA
