Key responsibilities / main job duties:
– Design, simulate and complete PCB design and routing of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) according to specifications provided by systems engineer
– Follow the defined electronic hardware design processes and document design according to hardware design plan.
– Take part in peer reviews of LRUs
– Collaborate with software, mechanical, DSP, RF and aeronautical teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware LRUs
– Test and validate hardware designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations (DO-160, MIL-STD-704)
– Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware design and performance.
– Stay updated with the latest advancements in electronic hardware technologies and apply them to projects.

Qualification and/or professional license(s)
– B. Eng Electric and or Electronic, M. Eng Electric and or Electronic or similar

Sound knowledge of
– Schematic design, PCB design, simulation of circuits and analysis of circuits.
