Job Description:
Lead and inspire a talented Shared Services team
Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and financial controls
Champion automation and system optimization projects
Develop and implement standardized SOPs for AR, AP, and Treasury
Collaborate across departments to enhance working capital and streamline processes
Drive change management and digital transformation initiatives
 
Skills & Experience:
Solid experience managing Accounts Receivable and Payable functions
Proven track record in process improvement and automation
Strong leadership and project management skills
Hands-on experience with Accpac (Sage 300) and MS Office
Knowledge of service or cleaning industry is a plus
 
Qualification:
Degree in Accounting or similar (advantageous)

Provide leadership across central treasury, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions
Build strong relationships with key operational stakeholders to ensure smooth financial workflows
Deliver clear financial guidance and communicate insights effectively to both finance and operations teams
Lead, coach, and develop a Shared Services team, identifying talent and enhancing individual capability
Oversee credit control and debtor management, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely collections
Manage purchasing and creditor processes, ensuring compliant, streamlined, and reliable operations
Oversee cashbook and cashflow management to support sound liquidity decisions
Review, strengthen, and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate reporting
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operations, focusing on system optimization and workflow redesign
Lead the creation, evolution, and implementation of standardized operating procedures (SOPs) within AR, AP, and Treasury
Identify automation opportunities and manage system enhancement projects in partnership with IT and external vendors
Support change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies
Champion a quality-driven culture focused on efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery
 
Skills & Experience:
Strong, hands-on experience leading Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
Proven experience developing and implementing SOPs within finance environments
Demonstrated ability to drive automation, digital transformation, or system improvements within Shared Services
Project management experience, particularly with technology-driven initiatives
Experience managing HR-related matters, delegation, and performance development
Solid understanding of operations and service delivery environments
Strong leadership abilities with proven staff management experience

Qualification:
Tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting
