Wine Estate & Hotel in the Stellenbosch / Brackenfell area is looking for an Bartender. Duties: Serving of beverages to guests in line with the brand Standards of Excellence. Carrying out assigned tasks effectively and efficiently. Ensuring that the guest and service areas of the lodge are kept clean and tidy at all times. Correct use and maintenance of equipment. Communication with front of house staff and management Requirements: Grade 12 At least 2 years’ experience Experience in a 5* hotel or high-end property / restaurant Knowledgeable of food preparation and terminology of food Good English reading, writing and speaking ability Excellent bar service skills Knowledge of wines, cocktails and all other beverages Stock control procedures Excellent presentation and people skills The ability to work as an individual and as a team The ability to communicate with guests of all races and languages An understanding of the etiquette involved in hosting guests of different cultures
