Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, or errors in datasets, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

• Implement and manage process automation to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention in data workflows.

• Develop and execute robust test plans to ensure data quality, system reliability, and adherence to business requirements.

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for efficient data extraction, validation, and reporting, supporting various analytical and operational needs.

• Utilize Python for advanced data manipulation, automation scripting, and sophisticated analytics tasks, contributing to data-driven decision-making.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments to understand their data requirements and ensure seamless alignment with overall business objectives.

• Manage databases by monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing efficient storage solutions to maintain optimal data accessibility and integrity.

• Conduct thorough root cause analysis on identified data quality issues and implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mathematics (BCom Mathematics or BSc Mathematics) or a related field.

• Proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and understanding database structures.

• Strong Python programming skills, with experience in data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and scripting for automation.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to data challenges.

• Proven experience in database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server), including performance monitoring and troubleshooting.

• Demonstrated data analysis skills, capable of interpreting large datasets and presenting findings clearly and concisely.
