A well-established South African nursery specialising in the production of high-quality forestry and vegetable plants is seeking a disciplined, motivated, and technically competent Maintenance Manager to join its KwaZulu-Natal team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage a fleet of delivery vehicles, including attending to breakdowns

• Maintain all nursery vehicles, machinery, and equipment

• Provide technical backup and support to KwaZulu-Natal clients

• Manage the workshop, tools, and staff within the maintenance department

• Fabricate nursery equipment as required

• Plan and manage nursery construction and infrastructure projects

• Implement, manage, and maintain ISO 9001 maintenance systems and records

Candidate Requirements

• Honest, reliable, and hardworking with a strong sense of responsibility

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills

• Positive, hands-on get the job done attitude and ability to work effectively within a team

• Diesel mechanic and welding qualifications will be advantageous

• Fluent in English and isiZulu

• Computer literate
