About the Company:
Hire Resolve’s Client is a leading meat products manufacturer committed to excellence. Based in Cape Town, Western Cape, the company has a workforce of 500-1,000 employees and serves a wide range of clients in the food production and distribution industry.

Position: Finance Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor and optimize cash flow, working capital, and cost management.
• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reconciliations and month-end closures.
• Collaborate with supply chain and production teams to improve financial efficiency.
• Implement and enhance financial controls and risk management procedures.
• Drive process improvements and automation in financial operations.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
• Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring continuous improvement and professional growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CIMA/CA(SA) preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax regulations, and cost control strategies.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
