About the Role
Global Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team in East London. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and stability of our clients’ businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts, trial balances, and bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and daily data captures
- Develop cash flow forecasts and analyse revenue and expenditure trends
- Coordinate annual audits and ensure timely submission of statutory returns
- Produce and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
- Monitor payroll processes, prepare wage summaries, and related reports
- Enforce compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and high standards of financial hygiene
- Provide ad hoc financial support and liaise with management and other departments
Requirements
- BCom degree, accounting diploma, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of three years commercial accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and statutory reporting requirements
