Johannesburg South: Senior Accountant posted by Network Finance

You’ll be part of a well-established, expanding business known for engineering excellence, operational integrity and trusted supply to mining and mineral facilities locally and internationally.

As Senior Accountant, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our financial reporting, controls, and strategic plans ensuring strong financial health as the business scales its manufacturing and global distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full cycle accounting functions: month-end, reconciliations, and financial close
• Prepare accurate and insightful financial statements and management reports
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support decision-making
• Lead accounting process improvements and strengthen internal controls
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff to build a strong finance team

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• JD Edwards (JDE) ERP experience 
• Minimum of 5 years’ progressive accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing, industrial or heavy-industry environment
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and internal controls
