Hire Resolves client is looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Foreman to oversee the maintenance activities at the facility in Noodberg, KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance operations and a proven ability to lead a team of maintenance technicians effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Supervise a team of maintenance technicians and provide guidance and support as needed.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support to resolve maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimise downtime.
• Train and mentor maintenance technicians to improve their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in maintenance-related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance operations, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a team.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of maintenance procedures and protocols.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management software.
• Valid driver’s license.
