About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Foreman to oversee maintenance activities at their facility in Noodberg, KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance operations and a proven ability to lead a team of maintenance technicians effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Supervise a team of maintenance technicians and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support to resolve maintenance issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimise downtime.
- Train and mentor maintenance technicians to improve their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in maintenance-related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance operations, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a team.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of maintenance procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management software.
- Valid driver’s license.
