Company and Job Description: Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about construction and development? We are looking for an Estimator to join a dynamic team, helping shape the financial feasibility of exciting projects from the very start. Key Responsibilities: Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed projects. Prepare high-level and detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, services, and overheads. Analyse BoQs, drawings, conceptual designs, site conditions, and technical reports. Identify cost risks, assumptions, allowances, and contingencies. Develop cash flow forecasts, funding requirements, and financial models. Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to gather costing data. Evaluate alternative design options, construction methods, and value-engineering opportunities. Prepare and present feasibility reports, cost summaries, and recommendations. Maintain pricing databases, benchmarking data, and cost libraries. Ensure all estimations meet professional and industry standards. Job Experience & Skills Required: Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. 35 years experience in estimating or feasibility analysis (construction/development preferred). Strong understanding of construction processes, cost estimating principles, and project lifecycle. Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., BuildSmart, CCS Candy, WinQS) is advantageous. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
