Durban: Junior Buyer

Key Responsibilities Assist with sourcing and purchasing of truck and trailer parts and components Request and compare supplier quotations Prepare and process purchase orders Follow up with suppliers on deliveries and lead times Ensure correct parts are ordered according to specifications Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier databases Liaise with stores, workshop, and operations to meet parts requirements Assist with stock level monitoring and replenishment Resolve supplier or delivery discrepancies Minimum Requirements Relevant qualification in Supply Chain / Procurement (advantageous) 12 years experience in buying or procurement, preferably Computer literacy (MS Excel, purchasing systems) Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Good communication and negotiation skills
