Our client has an EE opportunity available for a Buyer.

Requirements:

• Matric
• Diploma in Purchasing Management. A Bachelors degree would be preferred.
• 6+ years in a Technical Buying environment.
• Drivers license is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate sea, air and inland shipping and coordinate deliveries that includes sea, air & inland shipping.
• Ensure that all relevant Shipping Documents are received from Suppliers.
• Manage the R2P process by monitoring the ageing of the opening orderbook.
• Ensure correct Procurement strategy to be followed,
• Meet B-BBEE and Local Supplier targets and understand the criteria for B-BBEE.
• Ensure newly sourced suppliers meet B-BBEE compliance.
• Compliance to the Medius and company Supplier Portal.
• Expediting of delivery of purchase orders.
