Job Title: Compliance Officer

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Compliance Officer to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and renewing NRCS Letters of Authority (LOAs) for all equipment, managing import compliance processes, including customs clearance and NRCS inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaise with regulators (NRCS, SABS, testing labs) to obtain certifications
Maintain records of approvals, test reports, and declarations of conformity
Conduct compliance risk assessments and escalate findings to senior management
Prepare regular compliance reports for management on both product and regulatory risks
The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and renewing NRCS LOAs, managing import compliance processes, and providing guidance on tenders and contracts. A strong understanding of compliance regulations and a proven track record of successful compliance management are essential.
Requirements:
