Job Title: Wine Category Manager – Leading Beverage Company
Manhattan Group is seeking an experienced Wine Category Manager to join their team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and developing the wine portfolio across all channels, including on-trade, off-trade, and retail.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic portfolio management
Market analysis
Stakeholder collaboration
Positioning the company as a market leader in curated wine selections
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in wine or category management, with a preference for GCC experience
Strong commercial acumen, including pricing, margins, stock and depletion control
Extensive knowledge of wines from around the world, including old and new world wines
Confident presenter and trainer, able to engage staff and customers
Proficiency in Salesforce/CRM, PowerBI/Tableau, and Excel
Excellent communication skills
Desirable Qualifications:
WSET Level 3 or equivalent
Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong plus
Terms of Appointment:
Salary: US$4,800 net per month
