About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled National Merchandising Manager to join our team in Pretoria. As the face of our retail strategy, you will be responsible for creating an elevated customer experience, enhancing product visibility, and driving sales growth through effective merchandising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute merchandising initiatives to create an elevated experience for our customers, enhance product visibility, and optimize sales.
Market trends analysis, customer insights, and competitor activities.
Staff management-targets, performance, coaching etc.
Sourcing and develop of new products and services to increase sales across the retail channel.
Create merchandising strategies, cooperate with the brand and advertising departments.
Expenditure analyse and control in line with the annual budget, extract ana analyse financial and business data to make informed decisions and projections.
Develop in cooperation with the brand and advertising department marketing collateral for the business, monitor inventory turnover and analyse sales data.
Responsible for promotional campaigns, product ranges and pricing to maximize sales and profitability.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in merchandising or retail management
Proven ability to analyze market trends and customer insights
Strong staff management skills with a focus on performance and coaching

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business Management, or related field.
