About the Role
Network Finance is seeking a highly skilled Financial Administrator to join their team in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, managing overtime claims, and providing support with ad hoc finance and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Overtime Validation & Controls:
- Validate all overtime claims against approved production plans and operational requirements
- Review and interrogate manager-approved overtime to identify anomalies or unauthorised trends
- Flag overtime irregularities, excessive claims, or potential abuse for escalation
- Produce overtime variance reports comparing planned vs actual labour hours by cost centre and site
- Manage exception reports and follow up with line management on outstanding issues
- Administer the timekeeping system and ensure data accuracy within payroll deadlines
- Financial Reporting & Workforce Cost Analysis:
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports on: Absenteeism, Overtime costs, Leave liabilities, Headcount analysis
- Support monthly management accounts with accurate labour cost and hours-worked information by cost centre
- Outsourced & Contract Workforce Validation (AdCorpBLU):
- Validate outsourced labour invoices and attendance claims against actual site attendance and hours worked
- Reconcile AdCorpBLU headcount and hours against: Site access records, Production logs, Approved schedules
- Identify and challenge discrepancies between billed and actual labour provided
- Ensure that outsourced labour costs are allocated accurately before Finance processing
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide support with ad hoc finance and administrative tasks as required
Job Experience and Skills Required
- Completed Diploma or Degree in Finance
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
- Experience working with timekeeping systems, payroll controls, or labour costing
- Strong Excel skills
- High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
