About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Full Stack Development Lead to join our team in Cape Town. As a leader of engineering teams, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and deployment of complex web-based software applications. With a strong background in Javascript frameworks, NodeJs, and cloud-based technologies, you will play a key role in shaping our product roadmap and ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead an engineering team to develop and deploy professional web-based software from concept to distribution
- Develop microservices systems on top of a cloud stack (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Leverage available cloud-based services to improve scalability and performance
- Set up and manage basic deployment pipelines (CI/CD)
- Passionate about engineering products and trying out new technologies
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Javascript frameworks and NodeJs
- Demonstrable experience of developing professional web-based software from concept to distribution
- Strong knowledge and experience of developing microservices systems on top of a cloud stack (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Good understanding of how to leverage available cloud-based services
- Ability to setup and manage basic deployment pipelines (CI/CD)
