About the Role
Wasteplan is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Capturer. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for collecting and capturing waste manifests, weighbridge slips, and supporting documentation from vendors, commercial, and residential collections within allocated timeframe. This role requires excellent data management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Collecting and capturing of documents
- Assist with gathering of manifests, weighbridge slips, and other documents from both internal and external parties
- Capture all waste stream transactions and supporting documents for the region electronically and within the allocated timeframe (for all commercial, residential, and vendors)
- Data verification
- Ensure all required information and signatures on collected documents are completed and clearly visible
- Follow-up on outstanding documents daily, and escalate concerns as soon as possible
- Alert your Supervisor and Manager of any suspected discrepancies, inconsistencies, process deviations, or possible instances of theft and fraud
- Escalate unresolved or unattended queries to your Supervisor within a maximum of 7 calendar days
- Secondary duties:
- Assist with any general data-related duties, as and when required
