About the Role
Hire Resolve is a top-tier recruitment firm that focuses on placing skilled professionals in permanent employment. We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Risk Management Actuary to join our client’s dynamic team in Cape Town, Western Cape.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines
- Investigate risk factors affecting the life insurance business
- Collaborate and work autonomously as part of a global team
- Manage time zone scheduling challenges
Requirements
- Qualified Actuary with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience
- Risk Management accreditation
- Post-graduate or professional qualifications
- Advanced ability to understand risk factors affecting the life insurance business
- Investigative, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously as part of a global team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or related field (or equivalent)
- Post-graduate or professional qualifications in Risk Management or related field
- Risk Management accreditation
