About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting sales activities from within the office, managing customer accounts, processing orders and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels
  • Prepare and process quotations, sales orders, and invoices
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Support the external sales team with administrative and coordination tasks
  • Monitor stock levels and delivery schedules to ensure timely customer service
  • Upsell and cross-sell products to meet sales targets
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., logistics, finance, procurement) to ensure seamless order fulfilment
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints efficiently and professionally

Requirements

  • Between 3- and 5-years experience in internal sales, customer service, or a similar role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous sales or customer-facing experience will be an advantage
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Goal-driven and self-motivated

Qualifications

  • Between 3- and 5-years relevant work experience is required.
  • A degree or higher is not necessarily required for this role.
