About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior/Head Guide to join our team at Craven Cottage CC in Ladysmith. As a leading provider of high-end safari experiences, we require a guide who can provide exceptional service to our guests while ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our vehicles and lodge.
Key Responsibilities
- 2x safari drives per day and additional activities as per guest reservations
- Hosting guests in the evenings on a rotational basis
- Escorting guests to their rooms (as this is an unfenced camp)
- Monthly stock takes
- Vehicle maintenance and assisting with lodge maintenance when needed, ensuring the upkeep and good condition of all vehicles
Requirements
- Grade 12
- All relevant documentation as per standard applications (PrDP, CASETHA, FGASA, First aid, ARH, Competency and proficiency)
- At least 2 – 5 years’ experience in a high-end/Big 5 lodge/reserve
Qualifications
- Completed Grade 12
Salary & Benefits
Work cycle: 21 days on and 9 days off (this includes annual leave). Uniform provided. All 3 meals per day during the 21 days on. Accommodation with en-suite bathroom and shower. Gratuities as per company policy.
