About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Digital Marketing & Content Manager to join our team at Craven Cottage CC in Cape Town, Western Cape. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and executing a digital marketing strategy aligned with business objectives, while also managing paid advertising campaigns, maintaining our website, and creating engaging content across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a digital marketing strategy aligned with business objectives
- Manage paid advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads) and optimize campaigns for performance
- Maintain and update the website, ensuring SEO and conversion best practices
- Capture and produce photo and video content onsite (property, experiences, food and beverage)
- Manage all social media platforms and community engagement
- Create and distribute newsletters and CRM communications
- Track and report on analytics and ROI metrics
- Ensure brand consistency across all online touchpoints
- Collaborate with the operations, reservations, and F&B teams to align marketing initiatives
Requirements
- Qualification or certification in Marketing, Communications, or Digital Media
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in digital marketing, ideally within hospitality or tourism
- Strong hands-on ability in content creation (photography, video, copywriting)
- Proficiency in SEO, Google Ads, and Meta advertising
- Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress preferred) and CRM tools (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.)
- Excellent writing, storytelling, and communication skills
- Strong analytical and reporting ability
- Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a hybrid setup
- Google Ads or Analytics certification
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
