About the Role
Wild Dreams Hospitality is seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as Revenue and Trade Manager. We are looking for an individual with extensive experience in African safari bookings and luxury travel sales, as well as strong relationships with key trade partners. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the industry, commercial acumen, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop pricing and rate sheets, manage allocations/stop-sells, and produce occupancy forecasts to improve yield and deliver on targeted net yields and bednight bookings.
- Inherit, nurture, and strategically high-grade existing agency and advisor relationships. Conduct webinars/trainings and expand our exposure with key existing and new partners to drive repeat business.
- Manage the reservations workflow, enforcing response times, and improving conversion rates.
- Work with our brand team to ensure that our story is being effectively received by the trade.
- Drive B2B trade relationships, inheriting and nurturing existing connections while identifying new opportunities. High-grade relationships where necessary to ensure alignment with brand goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in African safari bookings and luxury travel sales.
- Strong understanding of agency relationships, allocations, contracting, and FIT sales flow.
- Deep knowledge of trade commission structures and operator margins.
- Proficiency with reservation systems and revenue management tools.
- Mid-level professional with significant proven experience in the luxury safari travel industry.
- Commercially focused and results-oriented.
- Relationship-driven with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proactive self-starter capable of working autonomously.
Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. hospitality, business, marketing).
- Relevant certification or diploma may be an asset.
Salary & Benefits
- $50,000–$65,000 total compensation.
- Bonus potential (10–15%).
- Familiarization travel to Zambia.
- Housing and meals provided if candidate moves to Mfuwe, Zambia.
