About the Role

We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Storeman to join our BCE Warehouse team. As a key member of our inventory control operations, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, security, and efficiency of our stock management processes.

Key Responsibilities

Maintaining physical control and organisation of inventory within assigned areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and security.
Accurately counting and recording stock received and dispatched according to procedures.
Performing regular cycle counts and participating in full stock takes and reconciliations.
Keeping stock items always organised and readily accessible for efficient retrieval.
Inspecting items in stock for defects or damage and reporting findings promptly to the manager.
Conducting investigations into stock discrepancies and reporting findings to the manager.
Maintaining accurate administrative records of inventory and stock management.
Tracking inventory movements, creating reports, and reconciling inter-branch/warehouse transfers.

Requirements

13 years of experience in a Storeman, Stock Controller, or similar hands-on warehousing position.
13 years of previous cycle count experience.
Computer literacy (13 years of experience).
Exceptional understanding of inventory management practices such as cycle counting and ABC analysis.
Excellent command of the English language (both verbal and written).
A related degree (preference will be given to degree-holding individuals).

Qualifications

Grade 12/Matric certificate.
