About the Role
IZI South Africa (PTY) Ltd is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented ATM Custodian to join our team in East London. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of fully functional Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) services to customers, while also managing the risks associated with ATM cash custody.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain close liaison with the control center to ensure prompt resolution of equipment problems.
- Ensure that potential faults causing equipment malfunctions are identified and resolved timeously.
- Keep all ATM terminals cubicles clean and maintained in good condition.
- Control ATM cash according to laid-down instructions (ATM, bags or canisters must be sealed).
- Balance cash at the required intervals (add or top-up) and ensure correct processing has been followed.
- Obtain slips for every replenishment and report no service or change in service promptly.
- Ensure that ATM cash is safeguarded against unnecessary and preventable loss at all times.
- Clear cash deposits accurately and promptly if applicable.
- Hand irregular deposits or those requiring scrutiny to the BSO or any other designated officer for scrutiny promptly.
- Deliver ATM slips to the cash centre.
- Reconcile ATM cash daily (same day) as per laid-down procedure.
- Not allowed to leave premises unless in balance.
Requirements
- PSIRA Grade C Certification.
- Cash In Transit Certification.
- SAPS Firearm Competency for Handgun Certificate.
- Statement of Results report from Professional Firearms Trainers Council (PFTC) or Safety and Security Sector Education and Training Authority (SASSETA) for Firearm with Business purposes.
