About the Role
Maison Grace is Cape Town’s first truly bespoke private members’ club — discreet, intimate, and defined by personal connection. We are seeking a Hostess & Reservationist who understands that the front desk is not a desk at all — it is the threshold to the Maison. This role is about first impressions and lasting memories.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome members and their guests with warmth, confidence, and poise
- Manage reservations with precision, discretion, and attention to detail
- Recognise members by name and understand their preferences where possible
- Coordinate seating, arrivals, and flow in close alignment with FOH and Bar teams
- Handle sensitive requests and last-minute changes with calm assurance
Requirements
- Experience in luxury hospitality, private clubs, or high-end restaurants
- Natural polish, articulacy, and emotional intelligence
- Organised, detail-driven, and unflappable under pressure
- Understanding of discretion, boundaries, and quiet confidence
