About the Role
A well-established player in the power generation and electrical engineering space is growing its Cape Town footprint and is looking for experienced Sales Engineers to support and develop business in the region. This role is ideal for someone with a solid electrical background who enjoys solution-driven sales, working closely with engineers, contractors, and plant teams in high-impact electrical environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Selling electrical equipment, systems, or services into industrial or energy environments
• Working with consulting engineers, EPCs, utilities, or plant operators
• Preparing technical proposals, quotations, and tenders
• Building and managing long-term client relationships
Requirements
• Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Technology
• Proven experience in technical or electrical sales
• Exposure to power generation, substations, power plants, or heavy electrical systems
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Technology (or equivalent)
