Our client is a is a premier water treatment company based in Johannesburg, South Africa. With decades of experience in the industry, they have established ourselves as leaders in technology and solutions for the purification and treatment of water in the African market. Job Responsibilities: • Sales;  Perform a sales function to the commercial and the Mystic mark it as it relates to consumables.  Ensure administration and the system is up to date with correct customer information.  Customer calls take place daily.  Meet the required sales target for consumables/internal sales  Assist any customer that might contact Aquamat that requires some Technical Support even if it’s not related to consumable sales.  Support the design team by providing input on any designs as per the Customer request  Prepare quotations and sales proposals and provide this to customers.  Deal with customer complaints • Customer service:  When customer calls are coming through related to any water quality issues ensure that water testing is completed and a water quality report is generated.  Prepare proposals for customers calling in if any support is required from other departments seek that support before the proposal and the quotation is sent out to the customer.  If any prebuilt is required for a customer manage the project in house and ensure that you remain on call for any third-party installers that are required where customers are just getting a prebuilt.  Built a list of preferred third-party installers.  Assist customers that call in with any troubleshooting issues that they may have and forward to for further Technical Support if you are unable to support.  Installations that have to be done on the customer side follow up with the installation team and ensure the installation is fully completed as per the customer requirement.  Telephonically support any customers where they already have a water system in place but it’s not functioning optimally. • Servicing:  Provide any aftermarket support to customers.  Any service level agreements in place with industrial customers support where required in any aftermarket servicing Job Requirements • 3-5 years’ experience in a technical role within the Industry • Chemical Engineering Qualification but not essential • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits • Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams • Strong computer literacy in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic AutoCAD or similar drafting tools • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical/math/data interpretation skills • Solid engineering knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes • Working knowledge of key water treatment technologies, including UF/NF/RO membranes, media filtration, ion exchange, disinfection systems, and effluent treatment processes (biological, chemical, and physicochemical) • Familiarity with water and wastewater legislation, particularly SANS 241 (Potable Water) and trade effluent discharge requirements • Understanding of H&S, Quality Assurance, and basic Project Management practices • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage stakeholders across technical and commercial functions • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to deliver effective technical presentations to clients
