About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join our team in South Africa. As an electrical and instrumentation technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining industrial instrumentation and electrical systems. You will also diagnose and resolve faults in sensors, transmitters, motors, and control panels. Our ideal candidate is someone who can support automation via PLC/DCS systems, read technical drawings and schematics, and ensure all work meets compliance, safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain industrial instrumentation and electrical systems
- Diagnose and resolve faults in sensors, transmitters, motors, and control panels
- Support automation via PLC/DCS systems
- Read technical drawings and schematics for accurate execution
Requirements
- Qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Willingness to train in Measurement & Control (if needed)
- Experience in heavy industries (chemical, oil & gas, energy, etc.)
- Fluent in English; open to learning Dutch
- Strong problem-solving and documentation skills
