About the Role
Hire Resolve, a leading client in the steel manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced Project and Engineering Manager to join their team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities of the Project and Engineering departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects and ensure they are delivered on-time, within budget, and without injuries or breach of HSE rules.
- Provide technical assistance/audits and marketing of products and services to the client.
- Lead and manage the Project and Engineering teams, provide performance feedback and goal-setting, conduct annual performance reviews and skills development and training.
Requirements
- Degree or qualification in project and/or engineering management.
- 5 Years practical experience in projects/engineering management fields.
- 2 Years experience in an aluminium/manufacturing environment.
- Technical knowledge of equipment used in the aluminium industry.
- Proven working experience in project and/or engineering management.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
Qualifications
- ECSA registration advantageous.
- Degree or qualification in project and/or engineering management.
