About the Role
Staff Solutions is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team in the Eastern Cape region. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse, ensuring that products are stored and managed efficiently, and leading a team of warehouse staff to achieve targets. You will have a strong background in logistics and management, with experience in supervising teams and managing inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the performance of the team
- Compile daily reports and take corrective action when targets are not met
- Conduct manpower planning and ensure workstation ergonomics
- Oversee scrap management and maintain quality supervision
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and HR procedures and regulations
- Maintain high housekeeping and operational standards
- Assist with WIP (Work in Progress) and sorting activities
Requirements
- Grade 12 with Mathematics or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ Supervisor/Management experience
- Managerial, Supervisory, or Logistics qualification
- Driver’s license (advantageous)
- Valid Forklift License (required)
- Experience with product-on-hand processes (advantageous)
