Kendrick Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced and driven Reserve Manager to join a luxury property group based in the Western Cape. This senior role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong operational, conservation, and people management experience within high-end reserve or lodge environments.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day management and operations of the reserve

Manage and maintain wildlife, land, and conservation programmes

Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements

Lead, train, and manage reserve and field staff
-
Manage budgets, resources, and operational costs effectively
-
Oversee infrastructure, maintenance, and reserve vehicles
-
Coordinate with hospitality, guiding, and management teams to ensure seamless operations
-
Uphold the standards and vision of the luxury property group
Requirements

Proven experience in reserve or conservation management within a luxury lodge or private reserve environment

Strong leadership and team management skills

Sound knowledge of wildlife management, conservation practices, and land management

Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently and make informed operational decisions

Valid drivers licence required; additional relevant qualifications advantageous
