About the Role

The Group Reporting Manager will support the finance function in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across the Group. This is a highly technical and hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, financial insight, and the ability to operate effectively under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review annual and interim financial statements
  • Manage integrated and sustainability reporting
  • Oversee statutory reporting across subsidiaries
  • Produce monthly consolidated reporting packs for EXCO
  • Analyse financial performance
  • Ensure reporting deadlines are consistently met
  • Perform complex IFRS calculations
  • Assess the impact of new standards
  • Manage the external audit process
  • Oversee tax compliance, including VAT, provisional tax, REIT requirements, and SARS engagements

Requirements

  • Minimum 45 years post-articles experience
  • Strong technical IFRS knowledge and reporting experience
  • Tax compliance experience (essential)
  • Experience with CaseWare advantageous
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and reporting abilities
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Adaptable with a continuous improvement mindset
