About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, and driving revenue growth within the logistics industry in Gauteng. This role plays a key role in the strategic expansion and growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive all internal and external marketing campaign
- Ensure corporate brand identity is protected
- Provide innovative supply chain solutions to clients that result in annuity-based revenue
- Develop new and existing client relationships and ensure either new business or sell-on work
- Provide support in and/or lead contract renewals
- Balance productivity with billing, revenue, and EBIT and ensure that utilization of staff results in meeting budgetary financial targets
Requirements
- Strong understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role
