About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our luxury lodge’s restaurant team in Ceres, Western Cape. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences and overseeing all daily restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of service, quality, and presentation
- Train, and motivate the restaurant team to provide exceptional guest experiences
- Manage reservations, seating, and service flow to optimise efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless coordination between kitchen and front of house
- Monitor stock levels, control costs, and liaise with suppliers to maintain profitability
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations
- Handle guest feedback and resolve any service-related issues promptly and professionally
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a senior front-of-house role within a luxury hospitality environment
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to maintain high standards under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Commercially aware with experience in budget management and cost control
Qualifications
- Proven track record of successful restaurant management or senior hospitality roles
