Job Description

Stock & Logistics Controller High-Energy Luxury Ice Cream Brand | Woodstock, Cape Town We’re looking for a sharp, fast-moving Stock & Logistics Controller to keep the heartbeat of our production and retail operation pumping. This is not a desk‑only role. It’s hands-on, detail-heavy, fast-paced, and absolutely essential to keeping our small-batch ice cream flowing from kitchen to stores to restaurant partners. If you love precision, movement, and the thrill of keeping a busy operation running smoothly, this one’s for you. The Role You’ll take full ownership of stock control and logistics across our central kitchen, multiple outlets, and B2B clients. You’ll be the person who knows exactly where every tub, cone, ingredient, and wholesale order is — and where it needs to go next. This role sits at the centre of production, retail, and distribution. When things get busy (and they do), you’re the calm, organised force that keeps everything on track. What You’ll Be Doing Managing stock levels across all outlets, the Woodstock kitchen, and B2B partners Running daily stock checks, reconciliations, and transfers Coordinating deliveries to stores, retailers, and restaurant clients Working closely with production to align supply with demand Keeping storage, labelling, and rotation tight and consistent Monitoring wastage, par levels, and forecasting needs Building strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners Ensuring every order — big or small — gets where it needs to go, on time Occasional weekend work when operations require it What We’re Looking For Experience in stock control, logistics, or supply chain coordination Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment A natural organiser with strong systems thinking Calm under pressure, solutions-driven, and hands-on Confident communicator who works well with multiple teams Tech-savvy with stock systems and spreadsheets Own reliable transport — non-negotiable A genuine appreciation for quality, craft, and small-batch production Why This Role? Be part of a young, flavour-obsessed, fast-growing brand A central role in one of Cape Town’s most exciting food operations Work that’s dynamic, varied, and never boring A team culture built on energy, creativity, and pride Competitive salary, based on experience If you love the rhythm of a busy operation, enjoy keeping things organised and moving, and want to be part of a brand that’s all about craft and quality — this role is calling your name.
