About the Role
A well-established and fast-growing property development firm in Cape Town is seeking a highly competent Site Supervisor / Construction Manager to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong construction background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering quality residential builds on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee site operations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Lead a team of construction professionals to achieve project goals
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues
- Develop and implement safety protocols to minimize risks to workers and the public
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met
Requirements
- 1015 years in residential construction or project/site supervision
- Practical experience in waterproofing, damp-proofing, drainage, roof trusses, and pressure plumbing systems
- In-depth knowledge of electrical installations and safety standards
- Proven record of delivering residential housing developments on time and within budget
- Backgrounds welcome: Construction Manager, Clerk of Works, Bricklayer, MBA, or equivalent
