About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Developer to join our team in Port Elizabeth, where you will form part of a larger development team and be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting software solutions. You will regularly engage with teammates and clients to deliver high-quality solutions and contribute to the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and implement software solutions within the company
  • Provide internal and external (client) support
  • Write and implement quality and high-performing code
  • Develop, maintain, and implement software tools, processes, and procedures
  • Research and develop new technologies
  • Test and evaluate new technologies
  • Identify areas of improvement and collaborate with developers from other teams to implement the best solutions possible
  • Document software solutions and processes
  • Follow strict source control procedures

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of C# and .NET
  • Experience with MS SQL Server, WCF, and Rest Web Services
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps (advantageous)
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Qualifications

  • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
