Job Description
- Education: Matric + relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Stock Management.
- Experience: 5+ years in stock management (preferably in packhouse/agricultural industry).
- Skills: Strong systems knowledge and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Leadership, negotiation, and communication capabilities.
- High attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Advantageous: Training in HACCP, BRC, FSSC, SIZA, Health & Safety.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain optimal stock levels and ordering practices.
- Record and reconcile daily deliveries and usage.
- Manage stock systems for ordering, receival, usage, and waste tracking.
- Ensure hygienic, organized, and space-efficient store areas.
- Liaise with suppliers outside central procurement; monitor performance.
- Prepare detailed operational and variance reports.
- Oversee budgeting, reporting, and resource usage.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, BRC, FSSC, SIZA, and Health & Safety standards.
- Lead, train, and motivate stock staff; handle performance issues.
- Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Drive continuous improvements in stock control and risk management.
