This role is ideal for a culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment with a strong background in large-volume catering and proven experience in wedding venues ️. Key Responsibilities Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen Prepare, cook, and present food to a consistently high standard Support large-volume production for events, functions, and contracts (including weddings) ️ Ensure food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards are strictly maintained Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste Lead and motivate junior kitchen staff when required ✅ Key Requirements Previous large-volume catering experience is essential Experience working in wedding venues is essential ️ Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure Hands-on, reliable, and professional approach to work Valid driver’s licence required Own reliable transport essential ⏱️ Flexibility to work varied shifts as required by catering operations Package Salary: R20,000 (Negotiable, depending on experience) ✨ This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated culinary professional to grow their career within a thriving catering environment, delivering outstanding food experiences for weddings and large-scale events .
