Nelspruit: Automation Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Lead automation projects from design to commissioning Develop control system architectures and automation solutions Program and configure PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and documentation Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and software teams Conduct factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT) Support on-site commissioning and client handover Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Automation, Electrical, Electronic, or Control Engineering Proven experience delivering industrial automation projects Strong PLC programming experience (e.g. Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, or similar) HMI/SCADA development experience Ability to read electrical schematics and control documentation Strong communication and project coordination skills Willingness to travel to site when required
